Frequently asked questions
Is Fishing Points free?
It's free to download; Premium features are sold as in-app purchases from $9.99 to $49.99, with Yearly Premium at $49.99 on the US App Store (checked October 20, 2026). Scirocco is free up to 20 waypoints; Pro costs $24.99 a year.
Can I export my fishing spots?
Scirocco exports a mark, a folder or a track as GPX, which opens in other apps and most plotters. Fishing Points' listing mentions importing KMZ and GPX files and sharing locations with friends.
Can I move my spots from Fishing Points to Scirocco?
Yes, if you have them as GPX, KML, KMZ or CSV: Scirocco detects the format from the content and shows a preview before saving. It also reads Lowrance, Simrad and B&G .usr files and Humminbird .hwr files.
Does it work offline at sea?
In Scirocco the compass, navigation, route around the coast, tracks and the last forecast (kept for 7 days) work without a connection. Maps are not downloaded for offline use. Fishing Points offers offline NOAA nautical charts.
Can I use both?
Yes: Fishing Points for feeding times and the catch log, Scirocco for the Mediterranean forecast, marks imported from your fishfinder and getting to the spot.
