Privacy Policy

Scirocco ("the app") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data is collected, how it is processed and what your rights are.

Data collected

Scirocco works offline-first. All navigation data — waypoints, routes, GPS tracks, settings — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is synced through your private Apple iCloud account. We have no access to this data.

GPS location

The app requests access to your location to provide navigation features (onboard compass, track recording, route calculation). Your location is used exclusively on the device and is never transmitted to external servers.

In-app purchases

Scirocco Pro subscriptions are handled through Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat for receipt validation. We do not store any payment data: transactions are processed directly by Apple.
